“Demonic Males”: Science text by a Harvard man about males and male-dominator violence

June 12, 2009

Demonic Males:  Does the title say it all?  (Not demonic as in woo-woo religion but demonically bad behavior from an anthropological and zoological standpoint of research by top-level scientific male minds.)  In a male-violent world like ours  …

… could the answer to surviving and thriving  be as simple as to put women in charge?    More from Harvard  on the subject:  http://www.harvardmag.com/jf97/right.chimp.html.  But seriously, in a world like ours, how is putting women in charge going  to happen when the big-3 man-God religions which subordinate womankind have now been invoked by President Obama as a field of unification among men worldwide from Christian, Jewish and Islamic cultures? For days I made cell-phone calls for the guy using my laptop in his e-campaign to win swing states, and my daughter still holds on to the hope —  but I’m starting to wonder if the girls are once again going to be sold out by the big boys’ club.  Click to the prior post about the problem in the category, “President Obama.”

As to Demonic Males in general as a global gender group, it is my job on this blog to say more, so after reading the book it’s my commentary that:  (1)  the s/he hyena analysis of Demonic Males seemed far-fetched toward a male author’s need to implicate the females of some species in evolutionary violence, and (2) the analysis of buddy-bonded bands of bisexual female bonobos seemed skewed to say less about primate sisterhood than an anthropomorphized sort of soft-core primate-porn.
A University of Oxford zoologist reviewed Demonic Males (with a Harvard anthropologist its lead author) this way for the New York TimesGoing Ape – The New York Times

What’s a Super-Suit’s gal to do …

June 6, 2009

You  can see before and after photos of  greasy and not-so-greasy gams  when  Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on the Tonight Show (gams rhymes with hams, and we all know where hams come from):

Gwyneth’s Greasy Gams – Goddess: celebrity moms – omg! on Yahoo

It’s not sick (as in culturally creepy) enough that any culturally notable “she” like Paltrow is expected to appear in American public culture with more touchable body on view than men typically need to show.  The 180 degrees from sick that’s still sick (i.e.,  culturally creepy) in patriarchal Islamic culture would literally cover up her thinking-instrument head and shroud her body as if dead from any contact with the natural world.

But I’m American and posting this post as a post-Christian not a Muslim (thank Goddess to disdain the multi-culti nonsense that refuses to call misogyny the woman-hating it is), so check out today’s online hysterics about  Gwyneth Paltrow’s legs.  The “greasy gams,” not the prodigious talent.  In context of  last season’s blockbuster movies, Oscar-winner Paltrow  played an iconic feminine subordinate gal putting her own life at risk to support a Super-Suit Iron Man’s exploits.  (She wore perfectly a slinky backless dress bought by her boss the Super-Suit.  She deadpanned the weak lines of script for her underwritten character with outrageous humor.  She acted heroically in high heels.)

Today’s online Gwyneth buzz irreverently links the hubbub about Paltrow’s gams  to  Goddess  in the same week  man-made religion’s big-three God (Islam, Judaism, Christianity) was front and center the Obama news as if that God has ever been about peace instead of piece.

Today’s trivialization of Goddess and woman occurs in context of the  beautiful Gwyneth (whose extraordinary good looks few could ever hope to achieve), who is also an actor of genius,  a mother and otherwise gifted.  If Paltrow is not a woman to be respected instead of trivialized —  then any normal woman might wonder, beneath being the “good sport” she’s constantly being asked to be despite man’s trivialization of her own life and womankind in general — who is?

If you doubt there’s a longest war …

June 6, 2009

Collectively the images here show the longest war, so if you have any doubt, go to prior month’s archives including a click to “older entries.”  Also check out the iconic super-male Hugh Jackman.  He’s super-hawt in his all-inclusive sexuality for normalizing focus on the physical body yet, being male, he usually wears a tux or power suit to cover all but his head and hands (thinking and take-action instruments) when seen in public.  The super-suit preserves the power image of the  overlord icon.

Not that Hugh Jackman is necessarily conscious of the social impact while he’s in the limelight raking in money.  But the rest of us need to ask how our minds are being manipulated in the name of others making a buck.

Ask not how hawt the he-man (any him, Him, He or hymn), but ask how to protect yourself because forewarned is forearmed.    What you don’t know can hurt you in the longest war.  Today’s “Scoop” for a male-dominant icon in summer 2009 theaters as  Wolverine —   Hugh Jackman  wielding the tarot card of “Death” while speaking down to a rapt, silent  young woman:

Obama’s mankind, the sons of God … and to every man “a female”

June 4, 2009

Even if men of different male-dominant “God” faiths make peace among themselves, the longest war by the language here depicted is slated to continue against womankind — men’s rules, men’s game, every man to have “a female” on men’s terms.   It’s  not a world any self-respecting woman ought to accept.  Why aren’t feminists calling Obama on this?  He’s better looking than Bush, but, hey, he’s sounding as much like a misogynist behind the smile as his presidential predecessor.

[Excerpts on this blog for social commentary; note the Islamic head-scarved woman and ask yourself who in her or his right mind would choose  always to wear a cumbersome head-scarf in public if not for the cultural rules and social pressures Islamic men have imposed.]

NEW YORK – President Barack Obama showed respect for Islam by quoting from the Quran in his speech Thursday but did so in a way meant to resonate with Christians and Jews as well….

“The Holy Quran tells us, ‘Mankind, we have created you male and a female. And we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another,'” Obama said in the Cairo address. “The Talmud tells us, ‘The whole of the Torah is for the purpose of promoting peace.’ The Holy Bible tells us, ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.'”

Whatever men may say, the God described has never been about peace but piece.  Goddess help us all.

Real vs. reel man (Kung Fu Myth)

“David Carradine, ‘Kung Fu’ Star, Dies in Bangkok, Nation Reports

By Charlotte Porter

[Socially critiqued excerpt from] June 4 (Bloomberg) — David Carradine, who starred in the television series “Kung Fu” and appeared in the movie “Kill Bill,” was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room, The Nation reported, citing police. Police suspect suicide, The Nation said. He was 72.

Blog Critique:  In the longest war, womankind must be shown in the harshest (or hawt-est) light possible, while the trashy truth about men must be sanitized, glorified and constantly spun by media, as pictured above, as pictured and described in this blog in general.

David Carradine, case in point.  Follow the circle of the media disinformation about David Carradine as bearing on the daily programming to prop up a falsely high self-esteem in the social gender class of maledom (compared to which womankind remains the one-down class).

After David Carradine was found at the end of a rope, apparent suicide by hanging (imagine that picture of somebody who could not save himself, much less be a male protector against other men for  any woman), mass media today shows him  in a tux (reel lie).  Not that we’d want to see him hanging from the rope (real truth), but the reel lie in a tux perpetuates the mystique of the sharp-dressed man, a tux being a power suit, a hero’s garb.

In general today’s news reports that link David Carradine with death at his own hand by self-hanging do not also link him to the Kung Fu TV show which iconically featured him as a man of great peace and wisdom (reel lie).  Generally today’s news that links the dead David Carradine with Kung Fu does not identify that he apparently hanged himself in his luxury Thai hotel room, but instead shows him smiling, alive and in a tux.  Another big suit.  Another falsely believed and falsely posited super man.  Another lie in the longest war.

More on the longest war’s man-made hell for women

May 28, 2009

The new movie,  Drag Me to Hell, all over MovieFone’s home page in oversized advertisement for the weekend — it’s big enough culturally to warrant extra treatment as part of the resistance to misogyny (see also posts below).  Here’s another online image from the film:

This film betokens the dilemma for women in this tokenized, pornified, can’t-you-take-a-joke time of man-made hypocrisy keeping men installed as the normative type of human, the male human, designed for Man-God worship by females everywhere.

This from the Pasadena Star-News, so near Hollywood, in an article identifying Spiderman-famed Sam Raimi’s discussion of the young woman vs. the old woman of his new movie [my notes in brackets]:   “She [the young woman] commits the sin [after all, doesn’t the Man-God mythos of Judeo-Christianity charge another young woman with the sin of being the downfall of man] – the sin of greed [being that she is a modern young woman needing a job in order to eat —  given the reign of man-made agribusinesses like Monsanto and the few remaining personal garden plots — and as a citizen in the man-made money economy, thus she has a job in the housing finance industry run by top men for a male-designed international banking institution now in partnership with the top-male US government and top-men governmental lenders in places like China].  And [continues Sam Raimi] I wanted the audience to sin with her and make that choice to throw the old woman out of her house [followed by an old woman in violent images to movie audiences as a hellish she-demon].”

Staff writer Rob Lowman in Pasadena provides no feminist analysis, without saying why, but it’s a post-modernist, post-feminist, post-structuralist time, haven’t you heard?

Know how to tell a man is lying?  His lips are moving.   It’s an old AA joke (change alcoholic for man), but consider the source, a “spiritual” group where origination-of-the-12-steps credit goes to married men who didn’t give credit to the long-suffering wives without whom they would have died under bridges in drunk funks and never started their “God as you understand Him” program of sobriety which only works to keep a small percentage of folks sober in any event.   Today with what’s also at the movies, I’m not seeing spiritual programs based on Him as God  being part of anybody’s solution for authentic freedom.

Might as well offend as many as possible while I’m on a rant, and religion is always a way to do that.    The level of offense taken about religion usually signifies the depth of the mental programming.  God, Schmod, whatever may Infinitely Exist to help us is not made in man’s image, nor man in “His.”  And certainly not Sam Raimi.

The Counter-Feminist Fidel-what’s-his-name and Kyle Payne: Could they both be on the same side?

May 28, 2009

http://www.freewebs.com/birmingham-schools-kick-racism-out/influentialpeople.htm

An unsmiling Harriet Tubman said she would have freed more slaves (she freed a thousand as leader of the  Underground Railroad) if they had known they were slaves.  Harriet Tubman:  female genius.  She also seemingly channeled infinite Spirit through a woman-of-color’s spin on a Jesus who would set Her free — as in seeking Guidance about which way to escape when out in the woods with slaves she guided to freedom on nights of the dark moon (my interpretation from biographies).

Freedom for womankind has become muddled today as most women remain media-mentally if not physically enslaved by pro-male global culture, although good things have been written by many and good works also done by those  who identify as feminists.   Some of us care about our daughters more than we care about  male privilege.  Some of us don’t want our daughters to be mind-warped and body-twisted by patriarchy’s cultural enslavement of the female caste/class/race/genderization  (aka enslavement to subservience by any name), it seems to come down to a division based on wombs and phalluses even when men of color have achieved some social parity.  At best it breaks down into smiling visages (gals) and smokin’ dominance (guys),  in the longest war played out in the theater of the mind.  (Not to minimize war’s terrors of the body against women and children, or male violence including the trauma of rape.)

It occurs to me (having been pointed in another blog’s comments to Kyle Payne, and reading his pre-sex-offender papers — good stuff, and true, actually, about porn as woman-hating imagery and self-policing social compliance for women built into the patriarchal compact) — that Kyle Payne might not be what he appears to be.  Just a thought in the nature of social criticism.  Might Kyle Payne have been a cover for a woman-hater strategically placed ultimately to divide and conquer the freedom-fighting energies of women seeking liberation?  Is there an off-shore account in his name for his divisive work on behalf of the patriarchy?  Maybe I’ve seen too many movies?

Now that Kyle Payne’s been  resoundingly discredited in the criminal (not really justice) system, his prior pro-woman words, even the true ones, are being discredited.  A double whammy scored, perhaps, by the longest war.

Think spy networks, double and triple agents, and maybe that’s how the disinformation tactics of misogyny work (or maybe I should be writing James Bond screenplays).  Then again, in vast respect for my daughter’s intellect, maybe the collective mind power of womankind — if women were mentally freed — is so prodigious in its unmanipulated state that men of the war have to resort to extreme, underhanded measures to keep winning.  Men win when women do not see that lying man keeps waging underlying war against the freedom of womankind.

Imagine if any feminist dared to say, without substantiation, anything so direct against male domination as Fidel-what’s-his-name says against woman in his self-proclamation as a  “counter-feminist.”   His blog banner typifies the male woman-hating reversal of truth.  Fidel-what’s-his-name of course does not provide any images of cultural synthesis sufficient to back up his claims, because they are lies.   Shaming, sadistic lies.

Just a modern way woman-hating and woman-fearing — and the corollary of man-revering — perpetuates itself from generation to generation.

Here is the Sam Raimi-false image of the old woman who drags the young woman to the  hell only men could make:

This silent smile also denotes the war …

May 18, 2009
The WordPress login screen (5-17-09) showed this photo (silent smile) of a woman celebrating men’s lives by watching (because by male cultural definition she’s supposed to care about) the Greatest Bromances Of All Time.

Man-made culture doesn’t even have a name for woman-to-woman friendship equivalent to bromance, and there are no movies that come to mind (with the exception of the regrettable demise of Thelma and Louise, but hey, the movie makers might be thinking, Beautiful Bro Brad Pitt was there, so hey, “all’s fair in [don’t call it]  love and war.”)

Pretty clear in 2009, isn’t it, that sex with us men on terms equal to our own libidos (ex., “save a horse, ride a cowboy”) hasn’t given to women the cinematic stories, or the rights to their own company, equivalent to what men take as a given for being the self-defined only people on the planet who really matter?

Spoken only as a bro who’s tired of lance, bromance and this idiotic dance of the longest war.
